
Stefani Farris was raised in Maine and lives with her family in Wyoming.
Her work appears in Zyzzyva, the Colorado Review, Epiphany Magazine, Passages North, and other journals. She has an MFA from the Inland Northwest Center for Writers in Spokane, Washington.
Grown Children, her manuscript of short stories, was a finalist for the 2016 Iowa Award for Short Fiction and a semifinalist for The Journal’s Non/Fiction Award in 2018 and 2019.
Her novel manuscript, Nobody’s Going to Save You, is the story of Rose, a single mom driving her teenage son across the country to meet his grandmother, the woman who abandoned Rose twenty years ago and now lies dying on a survivalist’s compound in the middle of the desert.
